Ever
since
I
was
a
little
girl
I
have
been
fascinated
by
fairies.
One
of
my
first
books
was
a
delightful
picture
book
of
fairies
:
I
don't
remember
its
title
but
I
do
remember
it
had
wonderful
pictures
of
fairies
doing
all
sorts of
things
-
I particularly
remember
one
picture
of
fairies
at
play,
with
one
sliding
down
a
pea-pod
as
a
chute! I've
never
been
able
to
trace
it
(or
another
book
about
a
'little
tiny
man'
who
rejoiced
in
the
name
of
Dinkle-Donkle-Doo, which
I
also
loved
-
I
can
still
quote chunks
of
the
rhyming
text!
)
but
I
then
moved
on
to
the
Flower
Fairies
books,
which
happily
are
still
in
print.
My
aunt
bought
me
the
complete
Hans
Andersen's
fairy
tales
for
my 6th birthday
and
I
also
read The
Blue
Fairy
Book, The
Red
Fairy
Book, The
Green
Fairy
Book, The
Yellow
Fairy
Book and
the
rest
of
the
twelve-book series
by
Andrew
Lang.
(All
are
now
available
on-line
and
can
be
reached
by
clicking
on
their
titles
above.)
You
could
say
I
was
well
and
truly
hooked!
So,
to
celebrate
this
love
of
fairies,
I
have
created
my
own
White
Rose
Fairy*
for
you
to
enjoy,
and
hopefully
you
will
learn
a
little
about
fairies
too..
